Within a recording studio, vocalists rehearse selections from Moana and other prominent Disney productions for an upcoming meeting opening. Numerous offices accommodate talented professionals specializing in event design and production.
This isn’t just a meeting planner’s dream come true. It’s Disney Creative Studio, which was unveiled earlier this year. Tucked away in a backlot facility, it’s brimming with talented staff and is designed to support Disney's meetings sector, providing resources for meeting professionals to organize conventions, events and incentive programs.
“The Disney Creative Studio is a differentiator in the industry,” said Amy Pfeiffer, director of Disney Meetings & Events at Walt Disney World Resort. “It’s an inspirational setting dedicated to helping meeting professionals create the most impactful experiences and events. And it’s rooted in the Disney ethos of creativity, innovation and fun.”

Streamlined planning is all part of the Disney Difference, bringing together everything in one place from meeting design collaboration to final billing and everything in between. Disney’s talented team includes sales and services managers, event producers, culinary experts and more.
Storytelling is at the heart of Disney, and the Creative Studio leans into this, combining Disney stories with purposeful, play-based learning. Disney Meetings & Events continues to unveil new teambuilding and networking sessions designed to increase audience engagement and deliver a positive return on the meeting experience.
Sessions include competitive teambuilding designed by Disney and Orlando-based events company Play With a Purpose based on the stories and adventures of Star Wars; a networking event inspired by Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean; a creative teambuilding activity inspired by Pixar’s Toy Story and Monsters, Inc.—and often end with surprise appearances from characters like Chewbacca, Buzz Lightyear or Mickey Mouse!
General session openers have also been added to the content portfolio.
Developed by Disney event architects who design shows for the theme parks, cruise ships and stages, these openers take the experience to a whole new level and jumpstart meetings in a positive way.
The new lineup of opening session options includes Digital Power Entrance, a high-energy, audiovisual, musical kickoff that unifies the audience in a cinematic experience showcasing the group’s own brand; and Karaoke Surprise, fun Disney twist on a karaoke performance.
These and other sessions can be customized and adapted to fit most group sizes and budgets.
