M Resort Spa Casino will open its second tower to the public on December 1. The $206 million development will open several months ahead of the projected timeline.
The second tower doubles the property’s space with 765 rooms and suites. Buisnesswire also reports that in addition to the new 15,000-square-foot Montese Ballroom—set to open October 1—meeting space will also be increasing.
M Resort is operated by PENN Entertainment. PENN is known for its integration of sports and entertainment, making M Resort the official headquarters of the Las Vegas Raiders. PENN Entertainment announced the opening—pending approvals—earlier this month.

In addition to the secondary tower, M Resort aims to include an elevated dining experience by partnering with Emeril Group to bring a taste of New Orleans to the property.
“This new tower and restaurant from The Emeril Group expands our market-leading amenities at M Resort and provides much needed additional room capacity for group business…” Jay Snowden, CEO and president of PENN Entertainment, said in a press release.
The Meril, a fine dining experience soon to be included in the M Resort, is a contemporary American restaurant with a diverse menu. The restaurant is known for its warm atmosphere and is a New Orleans fan favorite.
