Atlantis Paradise Island named Chevaz Chambers vice president and general manager of its Harborside Resort. Chambers will manage Harborside in addition to continuing his role as vice president and general manager at The Coral.
Chambers began serving as the VP and GM of The Coral in 2022. He also began serving as the treasurer of the Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association earlier this year.
Additional roles he held at Harborside Resort include senior director of hotel operations for five years. His return to the leadership team at Atlantis Paradise Island in 2022 followed a stint of time as the resident manager at Melia Hotels.

Chambers began his career in hospitality in the food and beverage. At Super Clubs Breezes, he was quickly elevated to hotel assistant manager. In addition to his experience in guest services and hotel operations, Chambers also has experience with water park quality and service. Audrey Oswell, president and managing director of Atlantis, said in a press release that his expertise makes him an outstanding leader and an invaluable asset to the team.
“I look forward to continuing our legacy, creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, whether they are discovering it for the first time or returning to make new memories,” Chevaz said in a press release.
