IACC Debuts AI-Powered Site Search on Its Website

The International Association of Conference Centers (IACC), comprising more than 400 residential and non-residential venues that host business events, has launched a revamped website featuring an AI agent that uses a planner’s specific meeting criteria to serve up potential host sites.

Located within the Venue Finder tab on IACC’s homepage, the AI agent can consider search criteria including region, proximity to airport, number of guest rooms required, amount of meeting space required and other traditional elements.

However, more granular factors—such as outdoor terraces adjacent to meeting space, multiple nearby group-friendly restaurants, desired outdoor temperatures on given dates and many others—can also be researched instantly by the AI agent, providing planners with several well-suited property matches.

“We are putting a smarter, faster and more accurate sourcing tool directly in the hands of meeting professionals worldwide,” said Mark Cooper, CEO of IACC.

“Our members and colleagues have helped shape...the functionality of this new website,” added Nancy Lindemer, global chair of IACC. “Together, we have created what we believe is the world’s first AI-driven business-event search tool built by and for our industry association—using the terminology, specifications and priorities that matter most to planners and venues alike.”
