ESPA Opens Nominations for Event Service Professional of the Year

What meeting and event planner doesn’t love a great event service professional? After all, they take the ball and run with it after the meeting deal is signed and the planning of the event begins, smoothing the process via their contacts on the ground in destinations that may be unfamiliar to planning teams.

Event service professionals are a meeting  planner’s key point of contact at hotels, special venues, convention centers and CVBs, connecting them to the right resources, anticipating challenges before they happen and ensuring events run smoothly from start to finish.

Given all this, they surely deserve recognition.

Here’s your chance: The Event Service Professionals Association (ESPA)—the only association dedicated to advancing the role of event service managers—is now accepting nominations from planners for its Event Service Professional of the Year Award.

According to ESPA, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated the following qualities:

  • Partnered with you as a true teammate
  • Took ownership of your event’s success
  • Went above and beyond to deliver a seamless experience

The deadline to nominate an Event Service Professional of the Year is December 5.

Nominate your valued Event Service Professional!
