Sheraton Boston Hotel completed a $100 million renovation that revamped meeting spaces and guest rooms. The project introduced impromptu meeting spaces named “The Studios.” The flexible meeting spaces can be setup with comfortable lounge seating or boardroom-style. An option for private meeting space, “The Booths” is a soundproof alcove to connect virtually with colleagues. Attendees can also collaborate at community tables located in the lobby, and curated food menus in the new public spaces place an emphasis on small plates and shareables to promote conversation. The hotel offers 70,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.

The new Hilton Arlington Rosslyn The Key is a modernized evolution of the brand set on the base of history—the iconic Francis Scott Key Bridge. Located in Arlington, the building soars 36 stories above the Potomac River, which served as the inspiration behind the hotel’s 331 guest rooms. “The View at the Key” event space on the 36th floor offers 360-degree views of Washington, D.C., the Potomac River and Arlington’s skyline. Between “The View at the Key” and the 13 additional spaces, the property offers nearly 30,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. The largest room, the Grand Ballroom, totals nearly 8,000 square feet and has a capacity for 500 guests banquet-style and 150 conference-style. Event room names are a nod to the history of the area, such as “Georgetown” and “Shenandoah.”
72,000 Reasons to Meet in New York
Convene’s newest venue in New York is also its largest, with Convene 30 Hudson Yards taking the entirety of the building’s 24th floor.
The 72,000-square-foot space puts the “grand” in grand hall with a capacity of 780 guests and is intended for large experiential events. Buying out the entirety of the space brings the maximum capacity to 1,500 guests across the grand hall and 10 meeting spaces. The grand hall can also be divided in half using movable walls.
Convene 30 Hudson Yards’ six boardrooms offer a speaker green room, a keen Broadway-esque New York City twist for event talent. The central gallery can transform into a custom backdrop as it is filled with 20-foot LED video walls with projectors that can float pictures and videos around receptions or cocktail hours.
Convene offers 40 locations in the U.S. and U.K., with a hospitality team that provides clients with a seamless meeting experience ranging from customizable space, AV production technology, established external vendors and in-house catering management.
