Drawn to Life takes audiences on an emotional journey with Julie, a young girl who stumbles upon a touching gift from her late father: a mysterious unfinished animation. Guided by a magical pencil, Julie travels through a dreamlike world colored by her cherished Disney memories, discovering the power to shape her own destiny.

The stage bursts into life with original music and mesmerizing dance, while the set transforms into a canvas where Disney’s legendary animation blends with Cirque du Soleil’s artistry. Each scene is a feast for the senses, featuring rhythmic gymnasts interpreting magical drawings in a flowing sequence, trapeze artists painting the air with their movements and teeterboard performers embodying the lively "squash and stretch" principle of animation. Celebrated as “a love letter to Disney animation,” Drawn to Life is the first-ever theatrical collaboration between these creative giants. The production boasts 10 exhilarating acrobatic acts, intertwining iconic animation clips from Disney classics with all-new artwork crafted by Disney Animation artists.
Years in the making, the show was researched through extensive visits Cirque du Soleil teams made to Disney theme parks, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Walt Disney Animation Research Library, Walt Disney Archives and The Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco.
The show is an immersive production featuring a score of new music with snippets of melodies from Disney’s classic animated feature films and larger-than-life costumes and props.
Drawn to Life is the 50th production created by Cirque du Soleil and its premiere coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort. With an international cast of 70 artists from 15 countries, Drawn to Life is performed Wednesday through Sunday in the West Side of Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort.
