InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has joined other major hotel chains, such as Marriott and Disney, in eliminating miniature bathroom amenities. The company will switch to bulk-size amenities in nearly all of its 843,000 guest rooms worldwide by 2021.

New Five-Star Hotel Approved for Las Vegas Strip

Majestic Las Vegas hotel gets approval from Clark County commissioners. The new, $850 million, 720-room nongaming hotel on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip is being developed by Lorenzo Doumani. TWA Hotel Debuts at JFK Airport

The restoration of Eero Saarinen’s landmark 1962 former Trans World Airlines terminal is complete and the TWA Hotel is now open at JFK Airport. On May 15, thousands of guests watched New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and Tyler Morse, CEO and Managing Partner of MCR and MORSE Development, cut the ribbon for the 512-room hotel in the iconic Sunken Lounge.
