Grand Hyatt Changsha, the first Grand Hyatt hotel in China’s Hunan Province, celebrated its grand opening. The 354-room hotel crowns a 61-story tower on Xiangjiang Road and offers breathtaking views of Xiang River and the city skyline. A riverfront landmark just steps from Changsha’s historic sites, Grand Hyatt Changsha is looking to become a top destination for impressive views and unforgettable dining.

“We are thrilled to bring the Grand Hyatt brand to the vibrant city of Changsha, and to further expand the brand’s presence in central China,” said Christopher Koehler, VP of China Operations, Hyatt.

Grand Hyatt Changsha is located in the Tianxin district, the cultural and commercial heart of the city. Guests can delve into Changsha’s unique history, architecture and food culture at Pozi Street and Taiping Old Street, enjoy the scenic riverside promenade of Du Fu Pavilion or visit high-end shopping mall Hisense Plaza, which is directly beneath the hotel. An ideal base for business travelers, the hotel is a 45-minute drive from Huanghua International Airport and Changsha South high-speed railway station.

Additionally, the hotel is near the Wuyi Business District and Middle Xiangjiang Road metro station.

Grand Hyatt Changsha includes more than 37,000 square feet of event space, including a 12,500-square-foot Grand Ballroom with river views and floor-to-ceiling windows and the Grand Residence replete with a live kitchen. Guests will be able to create bold events, supported by on-site catering and event teams.
