Marriott Opens Hong Kong Ocean Park Hotel

The Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel, a 471-room landmark urban green resort is now open. The property is committed to a sustainable future and reducing its environmental footprint and opens with several initiatives in place. These initiatives include the hotel façade design that features energy-saving components to keep the building cooler in summer. In addition, rainwater collection areas and vertical planting systems are found throughout the hotel.

Harrah's Resort Atlantic City Plans for Renovation

Harrah's Resort Atlantic City announced plans for a $56 million guest room and suite renovation in its Coastal Tower, featuring 507 guest rooms and suites, to be completed in its entirety by summer 2019. The room and suite upgrades are part of Caesars Entertainment's total investment of over $250 million into its Atlantic City casino-resorts over the last four years, which includes the $125 million Waterfront Conference Center, the revamped Pool After Dark nightclub, and the recent debut of Gordon Ramsay Steak, the seven-Michelin star chef and television personality's first steakhouse concept in the tri-state area.

Graduate Hotels Brand Debuts in Seattle

The Graduate Seattle opened in the city’s University District. The 16-story, 154-room hotel’s design honors the historic 1930s building and pays tribute to University of Washington (UW), its alumni as well as the city’s rich landscape. The hotel’s food and beverage outlets include: Poindexter Coffee, a café serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in bookish surrounds; and the Mountaineering Club, a rooftop bar and restaurant with stunning views.

The Kahler Hospitality Group announced an expansive $30 million renovation project, which includes the historic Kahler Grand Hotel and The Towers at The Kahler Grand.
