Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel opened following a multimillion-dollar renovation. The hotel debuted a minimalist design across all 253 newly-designed guest rooms, 4,000 square feet of meeting space and public areas. The property also offers a new Club Lounge. An expanded fitness center and the addition of a new restaurant LARS (Local, Authentic, Relaxed, Social).

Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach reopened following a multimillion-dollar renovation. The resort features a redesigned lobby, new Ocean View Studio suites, first floor Cabana Terrace rooms and a remodeled pool terrace.

Delta Hotels by Marriott Dallas Allen & Watters Creek Convention Center is now open. This is the first Delta Hotels branded property in the DFW area and the first new build in North America. The hotel features 90,000 square feet of convention, ballroom and meeting space, 300 guest rooms and suites and a restaurant by celebrity Chef Stephan Pyles.

PHI Hotel Group announced the opening of The Westin Calgary Airport. The 247-room hotel boasts a 30,000-square-foot conference center.

JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa completed its renovation with the debut of six new pool suites. According to Steve Hart, general manager and area general manager, the addition of the six new poolside suites rounds out a compilation of enhancements the resort added in 2018, totaling $8 million.

Reservations are now open for the TWA Hotel. The hotel will open on May 15, 2019 at John F. Kennedy International Airport for a soft opening. A grand opening celebration will be thrown in the fall. The hotel’s 512 midcentury modern-inspired guest rooms are housed in brand new buildings behind the 1962 Eero Saarinen-designed landmark that will be the heart of the hotel.

Hilton Washington DC National Mall is gearing up for its April 1, 2019 debut. The hotel is the latest expansion of the brand in Washington and is the product of a multiyear modernization of an existing property at the top of historic L’Enfant Plaza.

Convene opened its newest location in Chicago’s Citadel Center. The company, which offers meeting and event spaces, workspaces and hospitality amenities, will also open three additional locations in Chicago.

The Resort at Pedregal is celebrating its tenth anniversary with “a decade of luxury” all year long featuring special group promotions. The Cabo San Lucas property spans 24 acres and offers 66 guest rooms and suites as well as 22 multi-bedroom residential villas. The property sits near the legendary Land’s End rock formations and the Cabo Marina.

The 150-room Sheraton Tarrytown Hotel completed a multimillion-dollar renovation of the lobby, restaurant and bar, meeting space as well as the addition of a full-service Starbucks. The guest rooms were completed last year.
