JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa completed its extensive renovation and unveiled a new look. The resort’s transformation included upgrades to all 447 ocean-facing guest rooms and suites. Club 91, located on the 14th floor, was also renovated and the resort’s event technology was upgraded.

Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit debuted in the capital city of Thailand. The hotel is part of a 31-story, mixed-use development, which includes condominiums and upscale retail shops. The property’s design pays tribute to the golden periods of Thai history through contemporary aesthetics, furniture and rugs and features sculptures by renowned local artist, Ajarn Nontiwat Jantanapalin.

Hilton Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of Hilton Da Nang, a 28-story, 223-room full-service hotel. Located near the Han Bridge and the city’s famed Bach Dang street, the hotel provides easy access to the hub of Da Nang’s main entertainment, shopping and business areas.

DoubleTree by Hilton La Torre Golf & Spa Resort opened with 133 guest rooms and the largest ballroom space in the region. The property is located less than 30 minutes from the city of Murcia, surrounded by 20 golf courses, a range of tapas bars and restaurants and a convention center.

The Greenwich Hospitality Group acquired the West Bay Beach Holiday Inn Resort. The property will be elevated and rebranded to DELAMAR Traverse City after an extensive renovation. The $10 million transformation will be phased over a two-year period, during which it will remain open. DELAMAR is the flagship brand of Greenwich Hospitality.

The newly renovated Radisson Hotel and Conference Center Fond du Lac opened its doors. The hotel features updated common spaces and renovated guest rooms. The hotel offers 133 guest rooms and a 13,315-square-foot meeting facility across 12 rooms equipped to hold up to 600 guests.

Shinola Hotel opened in Detroit’s historic Woodward Avenue shopping district. The property is within walking distance of Ford Field, Comerica Park and Little Caesars Arena. The 129-key hotel offers various meeting and event spaces including the Birdy Room, a unique space with glass ceilings creating a sunroom-style venue with an adjacent private garden.

The Westin Portland Harborview is now managed by Interstate Hotels & Resort. The historic property is located in the heart of Portland's vibrant Arts District, just blocks from the Old Port and some of the best restaurants, retail shops, museums and artistic venues.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Montreal opened in the Quartier des Spectacles, Montreal's entertainment district. The 20-story, 595-room hotel joined the DoubleTree by Hilton global portfolio and features numerous interior and exterior updates.

Atlantic Beach Hospitality completed the conversion of the former Cambria hotel to Wyndham Newport Hotel. The property features a fully solar-paneled roof, electricity power harvested from a property-owned solar field located nearby and eco-friendly LED, automatic lights throughout the hotel.
