Los Angeles Convention Center officials announced that the center has formally received acceptance of a LEED certification, awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Officials said they plan to immediately work on enhancing the convention center’s certification through the exploration of thermal storage, which would significantly reduce the facility’s HVAC use even further.
