Yojainna Otero has returned to Omni La Mansión del Rio and Mokara Hotel and Spa after 14 years, taking on the role of director of catering and conference services. In her new position, Otero will be in charge of hosting group events at the hotels while leading the catering and conference services teams.
Otero’s return comes after she spent more than a decade at The Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas, as director of catering and conference services. She returns to Omni La Mansión del Rio and Mokara Hotel and Spa—where she began working in 1998 after graduating from University of Texas San Antonio— with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, 10 of which were spent at Omni La Mansión del Rio and Mokara Hotel and Spa, where she worked her way up from a manager trainee to an executive meeting manager before transitioning into convention service manager.
