Visit San Antonio Places Two New National Sales Managers

Amanda Tutor

Visit San Antonio has placed two national sales managers, Amanda Tutor and Brenda Berrones.

Tutor was promoted to national sales manager for the Texas in-house market.

Prior to her role she worked as special events manager in Visit San Antonio’s partners, experience and events department. In her previous position Tutor was handling internal and external events. San Antonio’s Tobin Center for Preforming Arts employed Tutor previously where she sold and operated private events. She also was the lead sales and event operator for the DMC division of the events company CE Group.

Berrones was hired as the national sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic market.

Before her hiring at Visit San Antonio, Berrones was senior sales executive at the Renaissance Downtown Hotel in Washington, D.C., where she managed corporate and association accounts in the Northeast. She’s held similar roles at various Marriott locations and Worthington Renaissance.

“Strategically growing our team and promoting internally when possible adds even more firepower to positioning San Antonio as a premier meetings destination to new and existing clients,” said Marc Anderson, Visit San Antonio president and CEO. “San Antonio will benefit greatly from Amanda and Brenda’s experience as we continue leading our group sales recovery.”
