With artificial intelligence (AI) at the forefront of everyone’s minds, MPI Academy has launched a new AI-focused certification course entitled, “AI-Enhanced Event Professional Certificate.” The goal of the course is to equip meeting and event professionals with the knowledge of how to best utilize AI to design meaningful and immersive experiences.
The program will leverage knowledge from over 30 industry thought leaders and will be available starting January 31 for $305 for MPI members and $405 for non-members. Three other registration periods will follow in April, July and October 2024.
The program will include six modules covering AI in events, AI tools and technologies, personalization and engagement with AI, data analysis and improvement, and designing an AI-enhanced event, as well as a final presentation where participants will showcase their practical application of AI in event design.
The program follows six learning objectives that mirror the modules, which will allow participants to:

Describe the fundamental concepts of AI.

Identify opportunities to incorporate AI in event design.

Utilize AI tools and technologies to enhance event planning and execution.

Develop strategies for personalized attendee experiences using AI.

Analyze data-driven insights to improve event outcomes.

Apply AI to a real-world case study in event design.
