This January, 142,465 people from around the globe participated in the 2025 edition of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world’s most influential technology show, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. In April, 124,693 fans attended two nights of WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium, representing the largest gate of any event in WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) history.
Offering more than 14 million square feet of space destination-wide, Las Vegas is a byword for the world’s largest meetings and events.
But the destination also has the magic touch at the opposite end of the group market, hosting thousands of smaller bookings each year.
“What makes Las Vegas ideal for large meetings—easy access with hundreds of direct flights, endless sunshine, world-class dining and entertainment, and unmatched venue variety—also makes it exceptional for smaller groups,” said Rebecca DeLuca, vice president of destination sales for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. “Vegas delivers a sense of exclusivity while being inclusive for groups of any size. Intimate experiences here don’t feel small—they feel unforgettable.”
Alongside the Las Vegas Convention Center, which The Wall Street Journal recently ranked No. 1 in the nation based on space, accessibility and convenience, here are some of the many sweet spots for cozy gatherings across the vast Vegas landscape.

Small Meetings at Venues on the Vegas Strip

“Small meetings are important to us as they often lead to larger meetings,” said Kelly Gleeson Smith, senior vice president of sales for Caesars Entertainment, which accommodates both small and large conferences and events across its nine-property Las Vegas portfolio and hosts around 3,000 small meetings each year. “In fact, we have a team of sales professionals dedicated to small meetings.”
Versatile spaces include rooms for 20 participants within CAESARS FORUM, which paradoxically, features the world’s two largest ballrooms at more than 110,000 square feet each, and Caesars Palace, offering 300,000-plus square feet of space.
“Many of our restaurants, such as Giada’s at the Cromwell, soon to be the new Vanderpump Hotel, have private dining rooms for groups under 25,” Gleeson Smith said. “At Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, we offer six boardrooms named after Bordeaux, Chablis and other wine regions.”
Small meetings comprise nearly three-quarters of group business at MGM Resorts International.
“We host more than 2,000 of these groups annually, with dedicated teams and purpose-built spaces,” said Stephanie Glanzer, the company’s chief sales officer and senior vice president. “From all-inclusive packages to high-tech flexibility, no group is ever a small fish in our pond.”
Complementing the newly renovated Mandalay Bay Convention Center, ranked seventh by The Wall Street Journal, intimate MGM venues include the Cypress Executive Lounge at ARIA, Crescent Lounge at Vdara and Grand Patio at Bellagio. Smaller groups also gravitate to the innovative Madison Meeting Center and Ideation Studio at Park MGM.
“Madison Meeting Center is a hidden gem for our instructor-led training programs,” said Kayla Ruben, senior event specialist for the Florida-based Institute of Internal Auditors. “The venue allowed our approximately 110 attendees to focus on learning while also engaging in valuable networking during breaks, which you don't often find in other spaces, particularly in Las Vegas.”
Treasure Island–TI Las Vegas specializes in hosting intimate meetings and events for groups of fewer than 100 people.
“Unlike most convention spaces in Las Vegas, our versatile meeting rooms are located on a dedicated events level, separate from the casino, and easily accessible from any guest room floor,” said Don Voss, vice president, hotel sales and marketing for the property. “Our dedicated team ensures prompt and personalized attention, making TI the ideal choice for those seeking an impactful event.”

Ranked third in the nation by The Wall Street Journal, the Venetian Convention & Expo Center at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas offers newly remodeled small meeting rooms as part of a phased $188 million makeover slated for completion in 2026.
“While boasting more than 2.25 million square feet of meeting space, a significant portion of our business, more than 70%, caters to groups of 300 people or fewer,” said The Venetian’s chief sales officer, Tony Yousfi. “With specialized sales teams for meetings of all sizes, we have something tailored to meet your needs. This versatility aligns with the personalized experience we strive to provide for every guest. Our small meetings get the benefit of our insight and expertise from hosting large meetings and tradeshows.”
Venetian groups have their choice of customizable spaces, from restaurants, lounges and hospitality suites to the Stella Studio, “a modern minimalist space” bathed in natural light with Strip views.

Off-Strip Vegas Venues for Small Groups

Ranked as the top stadium in the U.S. and No. 2 worldwide for live events by Billboard in 2024, 65,000-seat Allegiant Stadium excels at hosting intimate gatherings. The multi-purpose venue’s Private Events division incorporates a specific focus on programs for under 200 people as part of a dynamically enhanced new group playbook. Offering 125,000 square feet of open canvas space and 10-plus versatile spaces, Allegiant Stadium hosts small- to mid-size groups practically every day of the year. High-impact spaces include the locker room of Las Vegas’s NFL football team, the Raiders.
Commanding the Downtown Las Vegas skyline, Circa Resort & Casino caters perfectly to smaller gatherings.
“As an intimate boutique property by Vegas standards, Circa gives small groups a ‘big fish’ experience with personalized, familiar service and sense of importance that sets us apart from the Strip,” said Circa Director of Sales Sasha Lee. “We are seeing many short-term bookings, with groups of 10-50 confirming within weeks and groups of up to 100 within two months.”
Unique venues include hospitality suites for 10 to 30 guests; the hidden Secret Bar, offering a VIP experience for executive and board meetings; and Vegas Vickie’s lobby bar.
Turning 50 next year, Station Casinos has long embraced smaller meetings as a strategic focus.
“While capable of hosting 1,000-strong groups, our off-Strip resorts are purpose-built for gatherings of under 100 attendees, which represent 40% of our bookings, catering-only events included,” offered Deanna Burgess, vice president of hotel sales for Station. “These thoughtfully scaled properties allow groups to fully take over spaces, foster meaningful connections and create moments of spontaneous interaction. Attendees feel like the centerpiece of the entire resort experience.”
Delivering personalized, high-touch experiences, signature intimate venues include the Lantana Rooms at Durango Casino & Resort and Veranda Ballrooms with an adjoining outdoor terrace at Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa.
Station Casinos’ seven-property portfolio includes Green Valley Ranch Resort in the city of Henderson. Located in the southeastern Las Vegas Valley approximately 16 miles from the Strip, Henderson offers diverse hotels, scenic trails, professional sports, entertainment and dining and cultural options in the historic Water Street District.
Luxurious Henderson addresses for smaller groups include M Resort Spa Casino, which is adding a second 384-room hotel tower. Slated for early 2026, the $260 million investment doubles key count to 774 rooms and suites, and includes a new 15,000-square-foot convention venue. Other upscale venues include Rio Secco Golf Club and the Clubhouse at Southshore Country Club, offering views of Lake Las Vegas.
Henderson groups also have 5,567-seat Lee’s Family Forum, the event-capable home arena of four local sports teams, including NHL Vegas Golden Knights’ affiliate the Henderson Silver Knights.
