Tech-Focused Event Firm Markey’s Appoints New CEO

Markey’s, a national event and AV-technology company, announced Linda McNairy as chief executive officer effective November 3.  

McNairy currently serves as chief customer officer at miMeetings as well as partner at New Hotel Guide. She has more than 25 years of leadership experience, including time spent as global vice president of strategic meetings at American Express Meetings & Events. 

In her new role, McNairy will focus on delivering strategic growth and customer-focused innovation.

McNairy succeeds Mark Miller, who will retire at the end of 2025. The pair will work alongside each other in the final two months of 2025 to ensure a seamless transition.  

Miller will remain a part of the Markey’s team, serving as a board member. Miller’s career with the company spans nearly 40 years.
