Soaring 40 stories above San Diego, Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego completed a full redesign of its 33-story Seaport Tower. The property’s multimillion-dollar renovation is a two-year project, with the second tower—the Harbor Tower—expected to be completed during the summer of 2026.
All of the property’s 1,628 guest rooms and suites will eventually see renovations. The Seaport Tower guestrooms were reimagined to complement Southern California’s waterfront living, with rich wood tones and coastal blue accents.
Manchester Grand Hyatt features more than 300,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor event space. In addition to the guest towers, the hotel has upgraded, the Coronado Ballroom Foyer and Terrace and the Harbor Ballroom Foyer and Terrace with contemporary redesigns and enhanced technology.

The renovations also debut the adult-only Coastline Pool and Lounge, which overlooks the San Diego Bay. In 2026, an open-air dining concept will be added to the new pool experience.
Other renovations anticipated at the property include multiple dining venues and enhancements to recreational areas.
“Completing Seaport Tower marks a defining moment in our transformation, and we're proud to bring this elevated level of design and hospitality to the San Diego market,” said Dena Roady, area vice president and general manager of Manchester Grand Hyatt, in a press release. “From reimagined accommodations to our renovated meeting spaces and new pool experience, every detail has been thoughtfully crafted to deliver the exceptional waterfront experience our guests deserve.”
