Marquette Hotel Completes Conversion

MINNEAPOLIS

The Marquette Hotel completed a $25 million transformation and conversion to Curio Collection by Hilton. With this conversion, The Marquette Hotel marks Curio Collection’s first hotel in Minnesota.

Located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, the hotel’s redesign and conversion is focused on showcasing the history of Minneapolis while paying homage to the explorer, Jacques Marquette, with whom the hotel earns its name and location.

With proximity to Target Field, Target Center, Orpheum Theatre, and Orchestra Hall, the hotel’s neighborhood is central to the bustling tourism and business neighborhoods. Known for its classic approach to style and service, the renovation marks the next chapter for the lauded property.

A full redesign serves as the backdrop to the 282-completely updated rooms as well as a new lobby, food & beverage outlets, public spaces and more. The property boasts 26,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

“We are absolutely thrilled to bring the new Marquette Hotel, Curio Collection to life with the completion,” said Neville Erasmus, general manager of Marquette Hotel. “True to Curio and our new Marquette brand, we are activating a completely new value proposition which pays homage to the history and landmarks of Minneapolis. Our goal is to open a new hotel that provides truly memorable experiences within a modern, luxurious environment.”

As a hotel that is part of Curio Collection, The Marquette Hotel maintains its independent spirit while also offering the services and consistency of Hilton.
