Hilton West Palm Beach Partners With Theater

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.

Hilton West Palm Beach recently launched an exclusive partnership with the historic Harriet Himmel Theater located in Downtown West Palm Beach led by Jaimie Hart, the hotel’s event manager. Starting in October 2017, the 400-room hotel now executes and services all events within the 4,500-square-foot space.

Harriet Himmel Theater can accommodate 600 guests. Hilton West Palm Beach offers more than 24,000 square feet of flexible event space and is connected to the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

Built in Spanish-Colonial revival style with grand archways, hardwood floors, a 3,500-square-foot balcony and spacious lobby, the Harriet Himmel Theater is hailed as the cultural centerpiece of downtown West Palm Beach. The theater was originally built as a Methodist church in 1926 and refurbished as a luxurious event space and theater in 2000. Bringing over 10 years of expertise, Hart leads all event efforts at the iconic theatre and works directly with the catering team at the hotel to provide a memorable meeting experience.

“Jaimie’s creative mind and attention to detail is an integral part in making this partnership successful,” said John L. Parkinson, general manager of Hilton West Palm Beach. “We are eager to create more synergy downtown and to facilitate lavish events at The Harriet Himmel Theater.”

Through Hilton West Palm Beach, event planners have the luxury of booking the Himmel Theater through the hotel’s group sales team and utilizing the benefits of the hotel, most notably award-winning cuisine by Chef Miguel Santiago who has prepared meals for numerous American presidents.

Added benefits include booking room blocks and receptions in the hotel’s ballrooms and event spaces.
