Grand Hyatt Debuts in Greece

ATHENS, Greece

The Grand Hyatt Athens opened, marking the first Hyatt hotel in the Greek capital and the first Grand Hyatt branded hotel in Greece. The 309-room hotel incorporates curated art reminiscent of ancient Athens with original pieces from the Museum of Cycladic Art.

Grand Hyatt is situated within walking distance of the city’s old town of Plaka and the infamous Acropolis site. The property's rooftop Penthouse Restaurant and an outdoor pool with views of the Acropolis. There is also the Aphrodite lobby lounge and bar.

The hotel boasts nearly 21,500 square feet of event space across seven meeting spaces accommodating up to 1,000 guests. The 4,800-square-foot Grand Ballroom can be divided into two sections or used as one for up to 500 people.
