Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills Unveils New Meeting Spaces

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.

Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills unveiled new flexible event and meeting spaces that provide additional options for hosting corporate meetings to larger scale events, giving event planners more choices.

The Astor Ballroom and Foyer is already an iconic venue in Beverly Hills for unforgettable events. With the new addition of airwalls, the 2,945-square-foot ballroom will have the capability to divide into a smaller venue for more intimate gatherings.

The ballroom, as a whole, allows 300 guests for a reception-style event and 200 guests for a seated event. The newly-installed airwalls are able to divide the space into three 992-square-foot sections to allow for a reception for up to 75 guests or a seated event for up to 60 guests within a section. The space allows natural light to flow through the airy, ceiling-height windows that frame the views of Los Angeles. The ballroom boasts gold-trim wall decor that compliments the three glass-beaded chandeliers custom-made by famed designer Pierre Yves Rochon, Inc.

Additionally, the hotel recently completed a new boardroom on the mezzanine level, also outfitted in gold and black sleek wall decor, which fits up to 12 guests.

“We are pleased to offer additional group meeting and event spaces to accommodate parties of varying sizes,” said Christopher Preston, director of catering and events. “The addition of airwalls allow us to continue to host the larger events that we have seen take place at the property, and also permits us to create a cozier space for smaller lunches, dinners, or meetings.”

All on-site catering is curated by Michelin star-rated Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten in partnership with executive Chef Steve Benjamin, and offers a sophisticated culinary experience using California’s local, organic treasures.

The property also offers larger event areas such as the signature restaurant, Jean-Georges Beverly Hills, which allows for up to 480 guests. Other lobby-level options include the Jean-Georges Beverly Hills Patio, private Sway Room and Lobby Lounge.

The Rooftop by JG, rooftop promenade and pool lounge are also available to host events. Or, for those wanting to go big, the entire rooftop can be reserved to accommodate up to 450 people.
