Hilton Marco Island Reopens Following Renovation

MARCO ISLAND, Fla.

The Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa reopens its doors following completion of an expansive $60 million interior and exterior transformation. The 310-key resort welcomes a modern and fresh design aesthetic with color schemes inspired by the Gulf of Mexico.

The lobby, updated with new reception, concierge, and bell desks, brings the outdoors inside with dramatic floor-to-ceiling picture windows overlooking the resort’s expansive and renovated pool area, gently swaying palm trees and beyond, the unmistakable Gulf of Mexico shimmering beneath the warm Florida sun. Overhead is a striking crystalline lighting feature recalling the ocean spray from the nearby waters, and above the reception desk, a striking gold hued art installation reminiscent of the Gulf Coast’s gold coin treasures of lore.

The guest rooms, all of which feature balconies with breath-taking ocean views, enjoy brand new furnishings and enlarged bathrooms with his and hers vanities. Wi-Fi is ubiquitous throughout the resort and every room is equipped with smartphone charging stations.

The Premier Preferred Collection offers one-, two-, and three-room suites with optional connecting rooms and spa-style bathrooms. Premier Preferred guests can select from among seven remodeled poolside rooms and one lanai suite, with spacious patios and direct pool access, and sixteen new two-room suites with sprawling ocean vistas. The resort also features a Presidential suite that offers the pinnacle of luxury resort accommodations.

The Deck at 560 Bar & Restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating with ocean views. The restaurant focuses on local, sustainable seafood and produce, rotating with seasonal ingredients and herbs and vegetables sourced from an onsite, organic kitchen garden. At the newly installed Brazilian Walnut deck area, The Deck at 560 serves inventive, proprietary cocktails, many infused with fresh Florida citrus juices, and draft beer from local Florida breweries. For groups of up to 10 guests, private and semi-private dining options are also available in a secluded section with its own sensual, indoor fire pit.

For a more casual alternative to dining, the Hilton Marco Island offers a grab-and-go concept – 560 Market, serving a variety of gourmet sandwiches and salads, baked flatbread and pizza, ice cream as well as an Illy coffee bar. The Gulf Cart, a mobile snack and beverage cart delivers beach worshippers light bites and refreshing drinks from The Deck at 560.

At the redesigned outdoor pool, the focal point of the resort, guests can enjoy swimming, soaking in the warm sun and gathering with friends and family for an alfresco meal. In the evening, after strolling the lush landscaped grounds, they can take in the sunset seated around one of several luxurious fire pits.

Mirroring the new aesthetic of the pool area, when complete by year-end, the Spa at the Hilton Marco Island -- with ten treatment rooms, plush indoor and garden teakwood lounge seating around the portico-covered whirlpool – will offer guests the latest therapeutic massages, restoring body treatments, signature facials, hair treatments, and nail care.

Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa has expanded and upgraded its 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including its spectacular 5,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom. The resort’s Gulf Front Great Lawn, with views of the Gulf of Mexico, is the perfect venue for weddings or large dinner or other gatherings.

Business-oriented groups will enjoy meeting at the resort’s new outdoor patios as well as innovations like modern digital signage, fully equipped business center and stylish yet relaxed furnishings.
