New York’s TWA Hotel Gears Up for Opening

Reservations are now open for the TWA Hotel in New York.

The hotel will open on May 15, 2019 at John F. Kennedy International Airport for a soft opening. A grand opening celebration will be thrown in the fall.

The TWA Hotel's 512 midcentury modern-inspired guest rooms are housed in brand new buildings behind the 1962 Eero Saarinen-designed landmark that will be the heart of the hotel.

TWA Hotel Prefunction Space

The property will offer 50,000 square feet of meeting and event space, which includes 45 function rooms, a 15,000-square-foot ballroom with prefunction space and five hospitality suites. The property will also boast an additional 200,000 square feet of event space in the former TWA terminal, including outdoor terraces and an observation deck.

The property will also feature six restaurants and eight bars, a 10,000-square-foot-gym, rooftop pool and observation deck and an on-site museum.

The museum will provide relevant information on the Jet Age, TWA history and the midcentury modern design movement, among its offerings.

The TWA Hotel will be connected to JetBlue Terminal 5, a short walk to Terminal 4 and a five-minute AirTran ride to all other airport terminals.
