The AAA Four Diamond Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino, located on Aruba’s world-renowned Palm Beach, recently unveiled a multimillion-dollar transformation that refreshed all of the property’s 359 guest rooms. The renovation also includes a new adults-only pool, Trankilo, and updates to the ZoiA Spa.

The 12-acre property also recently welcomed a Regency Club, accessible to World of Hyatt members with Globalist status and guests who reserve Regency Club access. Those who partake have access to private check-ins, a dedicated concierge team to book activities and excursions, a library space with computer workstations, and access to the resort’s wellness and wellbeing ambassador.

The resort also offers nine F&B concepts, nine meeting rooms and extensive outdoor areas for special events. It’s located 15 minutes from Queen Beatrix International Airport.

In late 2021, Dubai-based luxury hotel company Jumeirah Group unveiled a new international resort: Jumeirah Maldives, an all-villa luxury resort tucked away in the turquoise waters of the North Malé Atoll, easily reachable by speedboat or seaplane from Malé Airport. The idyllic locations makes it an ideal retreat for incentive winners.

The resort’s architecture and interiors were designed by Singaporean design studio Miaja, who wanted to create a Mediterranean-inspired contemporary setting “in harmony with the natural environment.”

The property offers 67 beach and over-water villas in one-, two- and three-bedroom configurations, all with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. Each villa features a private infinity pool and large rooftop terrace with a dedicated dining area for guests to take in sensational views while enjoying meals.

Jumeirah Maldives also offers a number of dining experiences, as well as the Talise Spa with six over-water treatment rooms.

Trinidad’s picturesque Port of Spain recently welcomed The BRIX, Autograph Collection, offering 161 guest rooms and suites. The name derives from the chemical measurement of sugar in a solution—sugar is a crop with deep historical, financial and culture meaning for the islands of Trinidad and Tobago.

The property features F&B concepts like signature restaurant and bar The Exchange, serving international and local cuisines, and The Sugar High Rooftop Lounge, where guests can enjoy tapas, cocktails and incredible views.

For meetings and events, planners can use 2,400 square feet of indoor meeting space laid out across three meeting rooms. The largest room, St. Madeleine, accommodates up to 100 attendees, while the Sevilla Meeting Rooms offers an intimate setting for smaller meetings and events.

The hotel is nestled in St. Anns on the outskirts of the busy capital Port of Spain and is minutes away from the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Magnificent Seven Buildings.

Beer lovers, rejoice. Edinburgh’s Old Town recently unveiled BrewDog Hotel, a beer-themed boutique hotel on Market Street. Like the chain’s existing hotel properties, the Edinburgh property offers beer on tap in each room, beer fridges in the shower and a stocked mini fridge. The property is also dog friendly, providing dog beds and treats should a guest bring along a furry friend.

The hotel boasts 20 apartment-style rooms and is housed in a former Victorian school near Waverley Station. BrewDog also offers two bars/restaurants, one on the ground floor pouring 30 taps of craft beer alongside cocktails, wines and spirits, as well as a full menu of burgers, wings, salads and brunch. The terrace bar upstairs features cozy fire pits.

Guests of the hotel have also have access to complimentary Brompton bikes to explore the surrounding attractions. The hotel even offers a free beer crawl guide so you can hold your own self-guided beer tour of the city.

BrewDog Edinburgh joins other hotel locations in Aberdeen, Scotland; Manchester, England; and Columbus, Ohio. The brand also plans to expand to Las Vegas; Atlanta; Milan, Italy; and Lyon, France.
