The hotel will connect to the 275,000-square-foot Arvest Business Convention Center, which offers in-house security, a box office, dock marshals, technical services, bars,  concessions and catering. The convention center also offers a conference hall, meeting rooms, exhibit hall and ballroom, the largest of these spaces being the 102,600-square-foot Pepsi Exhibit Hall, able to accommodate up to 8,970 attendees.

The city hopes the addition of the new convention center hotel, along with its blend of Southern culture and Route 66 history, will position Tulsa for larger-scale events and solidify the destination as an option for international and domestic business travelers alike.

“Adding a new anchor hotel connected to the Arvest Convention Center to our already thriving downtown continues Tulsa’s upward momentum and is the latest example of the forward-thinking spirit for which our city is known,” said Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols in a press release. “I’m excited to watch as this project continues to progress and see the impact it will make on our local economy and eagerly anticipate breaking ground on this transformative project.”
