ConferenceDirect, a global company that manages meeting professionals and creates meeting solutions, has appointed Mai Lim as vice president of industry relations and global accounts, a role in which she will drive growth and expand relationships for the company. Lim will begin October 1.
In her new role, Lim will focus on recruitment and account development, at a company that oversees more than 18,000 contracts managed annually and more than 4,000 global customers.

Lim comes to ConferenceDirect from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority where she served as the director of intermediary accounts. In this role, she was recognized for her success in supporting key initiatives that connected destinations with leading organizations.
“Her proven expertise in partner relations and result-oriented passion makes her an excellent addition to our organization,” said president and CEO of ConferenceDirect, Jerry Horan, in a press release. “We look forward to the energy and strategic insight she will bring to ConferenceDirect.”
