PCMA Picks Sites for 2022, 2023 Convening Leaders

The Axis Hotel Moline Debuts in Illinois

The Axis Hotel Moline, Tapestry Collection by Hilton opened in the historic Fifth Avenue building in downtown Moline. The hotel and historic art deco landmark was named for the location’s prominence on Fifth Avenue and 17th Street. When the Fifth Avenue building was originally constructed in 1929, the location was known as the main axis of Moline, connecting business, leisure and transportation.

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Debuts Guitar Hotel

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood debuted its Guitar Hotel as part of the property's $1.5 billion expansion. Complementing the 450-foot high Guitar Hotel are a Hard Rock Live performance venue for 7,000 attendees; 13.5-acre pool and lagoon experience with overwater cabanas; more than two dozen dining, lounge and entertainment options; and more than 150,000 square feet of meeting space.

Hyatt Ziva Cancun’s Microbrewery Gives Groups Something to Cheers

Craft beer is taking the spotlight at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun. The property is home to Tres Cerveza’s Brewery, the only microbrewery in an all-inclusive hotel. This onsite microbrewery not only offers attendees a taste of locally made beers—the resort has its own brewmaster and craft beer expert who brews in house—but the venue can also be used for meetings, breakouts and private events.

The Central Station Hotel Opens in Memphis

The Central Station Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton opened in Memphis’ South Main District. The 123-room hotel transformed the city’s 105-year-old historic transportation hub and features architectural and design elements that honor the building’s—and neighborhood’s—history.
