The JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa is undergoing a $24 million transformation of its Spa at Camelback Inn, set to debut in January 2026. The renovations will include a 32,000-square-foot reimagined spa sanctuary with 20 treatment rooms, hydrotherapy pools and meditation spaces. Other notable additions include new wellness circuits and studios, new treatment options and a new wellness-focused cafe.
The resort also features 453 guest rooms and suites, five onsite restaurants, fitness center, 18-hole championship golf course and 132,000 square feet of meeting space spread across 26 event venues. The largest of these event venues is the Arizona Ballroom, able to accommodate up to 2,100 attendees in its 19,968 square feet of space.

California
The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara is a 78-acre, coastal resort property that recently completed a renovation of its guest rooms, suites, lobby, bars, restaurants and public spaces. The resort also features a 42,000-square foot spa that offers amenities such as a swimming pool, redwood sauna and eucalyptus steam room.

The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara also has nearly 85,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space across 29 event venues. The largest of these is the 13,340-square-foot Arrival Courtyard able to accommodate up to 1,200 attendees and the 11,310-square-foot Bacara Ballroom, able to accommodate up to 1,100. The resort also offers activities such as tennis, electric bike rentals and environmental excursions.
Limelight Mammoth is a new-build property set to open in late 2025 and will feature 124 guest rooms, 25 suites and 15 private residences. The hotel will be located in the heart of downtown Mammoth Lakes, California, and mark Limelight Hotels’ first property in the state.

Limelight Mammoth will offer amenities such as a lounge, private club, fitness center, pool, spa and 8,000 square feet of meeting space across six venues. The largest of these rooms being the Ridgeline Ballroom, which will accommodate up to 300 attendees in its 2,520 square feet of space.
Graton Resort & Casino celebrated the groundbreaking of its hotel expansion in Rohnert Park, continuing a $1 billion expansion project that began in 2023. The expansion will debut in 2027 and plans to add two new hotel wings from the existing tower, which will feature 220 new rooms, an expanded lobby retail shop, a new adults-only pool and a stage to host live entertainment.
The resort also features 20,000 square feet of event space that can be used as one main room seating up to 1,500 or as seven breakout spaces.
Western Canada
Hyatt Vancouver Downtown Alberni is undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation set to be completed in 2026, where it will then join the Park Hyatt brand. The 119-room property will undergo upgrades to its guest rooms, lobby, public spaces, spa, a newly renovated onsite restaurant and 6,814 square feet of meeting space across nine venues. The largest of these venues is the 1,832-square-foot Conway Room able to accommodate up to 140 attendees.

A Boutique Alaskan Basecamp

The Wildbirch Hotel is a newly opened property in Anchorage’s Mushing District, serving as the city’s first lifestyle boutique property and newest hotel build in 20 years. The hotel features 252 guest rooms, onsite brewery, cafe, retail shop and its onsite signature restaurant, Crimson, offering high-end twists on Alaska staples. The restaurant will also feature a private dining room that can accommodate up to 16, and outdoor seating is available on the restaurant’s terrace.
The property also plans to open The Undertap this fall, which will serve as a craft beer tasting room with a unique variety of locally brewed pours. There will also be a space for private events and meetings adjacent to the tasting room.

The Wildbirch Hotel offers a variety of meeting and event space, the largest of which is the Kenai River Ballroom, able to accommodate up to 225 attendees in its largest configuration. Other notable venues include the 1,500-square-foot Kenai River Terrace and the 1,189-square-foot Yukon River Conference Room.
The property is also located close to some of Anchorage’s historic sites and cultural attractions such as the Alaska Railroad Depot, Alaska Center for the Performing Arts and the Anchorage Museum.
